Craig is a 60 year old, Type A personality with a passion for his craft and an unmatched love for his family. Finding so much joy in his woodworking he dreams of retiring in his own home woodshop. He appreciates the respect he receives for his proficiency and thoroughness. His work reflects the old sayings "do it right the first time" and "measure twice, cut once." He believes "If you can find one or two really good friends in your lifetime, you are very blessed" and he considers himself extremely blessed working with the crew at Rawls Construction. With a weekly spiritual fellowship for the men of Rawls Construction, Craig feels closer than ever to his coworkers; so much so that he considers this group to be a big part of where he finds daily inspiration. The other part of his inspiration comes from his wife Laurel, kids Matt and Sarah and his Granddaughter Hope. When he doesn't have a saw or chisel in his hand, he loves motorcycles, traveling, listening to music of all genres, and mountain biking. In closing he says "There is hope in everything, you just have to look for it", he believes in striving harder for the important things: "I just love life".
"Craig is mostly very serious about his work, he wants everything to look amazing. He does however, have a great sense of humor and is a "can-do" kind of guy. His experience is very apparent in his quality of work and he is great with communicating, deadlines, and problem solving. Craig is our "master finish carpenter" and I couldn't think of a better title to describe him." - Doug Hiller
